Written by Supriya Srivastava

Domains:-  A domain name is used to identify a website on the internet.

It’s the name you type into a web browser’s address bar to navigate to a website.

Steps to add the domains in the cPanel:

Step 1:-  Login to your cPanel account using your username and password.
Step 2:- Go to domains.
Step 3:- Click on create a new domain.
Step 4:- Click on submit and your domain will be added to the control panel.

Subdomains:-  A subdomain is an additional part of your main domain name.

Subdomains are created to organize and navigate different sections of your website.

You can create multiple subdomains or child domains on your main domain.

The most common use case of a subdomain is for creating a testing or staging version of a website.

Subdomains can be very useful in organizing your website content more efficiently.

Steps to create the subdomains in cPanel:

Step 1: Log in to your cPanel using your username and password.
Step 2: Goto domains and click on subdomains.
Step 3: Enter the subdomain which you want to create.
Step 4: Click on crate and your subdomain will be created.

Addon domains: Addon domains allow you to control multiple domains from a single account.

An addon domain links a new domain name to a directory in your account, and then stores its files in that directory.
